Work

I work as professor of digital health and intelligent user interfaces at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences. Under the name CoDe4Health, my group focuses on co-designing digital health technology. Co-Design is a way to integrate end-users early on and throughout in the design process of new human-computer interfaces.In particular, I focus on socio-technical systems for care, healthy living and therapy-support.

Ich arbeite als Professorin für Digitale Gesundheit und intelligente Nutzerschnittstellen an der Hochschule Düsseldorf. Unter dem Namen CoDe4Health, is meine Forschung auf das Co-Design digitaler Gesundheitsanwendungen fokussiert. Co-Design ist ein Weg spätere Nutzer*innen früh und kontinuierlich in den Gestaltungsprozess der Technik einzubinden. Insbesondere interessiere ich mich für sozio-technische Systeme in den Bereichen Pflege, gesundes Leben und Therapieunterstützung.

Hi! When I am at work (not always physically, but at least mentally) I am an HCI researcher interested in digital health applications, when I am at home (not in home office) I am a mother of two, wife and dog owner. If there is any time left in a day, I might be drawing, illustrating, sewing kids clothing and / or listening to metal. And every now and then I might even be throwing an ultimate disc.

Hi! Wenn ich (in dieser Zeit zumindest mental) auf der Arbeit bin, forsche und lehre ich im Bereich Mensch-Technik Interaktion. Zuhause (nicht im Home Office) bin ich Mutter von 2 Kindern, Ehefrau und Frauchen. Falls noch Zeit übrig ist, zeichne oder illustriere ich, nähe Kinderkleidung und / oder höre Metal. Manchmal werfe ich sogar mal eine Ultimate Frisbee.
